 Lincoln police say a 2-car crash about 10:45 Sunday night killed 2 young women and sent 19 people to the hospital, one in critical condition.
Names have not been released.
      The two fatalities, ages 20 and 22, were in one vehicle while the 18-year old male driver of the second vehicle was among those taken to the hospital.Â
Only one of the 19 who went to the hospital was described as having life-threatening injuries. Most were treated and released.
     Lincoln Police Captain Max Hubka says the accident occurred when two vehicles T-boned at an intersection and one jumped the curb into a crowd of people who’d been watching what he described as a holiday Americruise car cruise.
      Captain Hubka says the Americruise has been an annual event with drivers coming to Lincoln over Memorial Day weekend to show off their cars driving down city streets.
