The jackpot for today’s Mega Millions lottery is an estimated $440-million dollars – $247.8-million if the winner takes the cash option. The jackpot may grow even more before the drawing, depending on ticket sales.
The Mega Millions jackpot starts at $20 million and continues to grow each drawing until it’s won – and it’s been growing for 24 straight times since April 19.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot on record occurred in October 2018 when one winner in South Carolina won a $1.537 billion jackpot.
