Authorities have released the names of the Mitchell couple involved in a fatal rollover accident early Wednesday afternoon between Scottsbluff and Mitchell.
Neither the driver, 66-year old Dora Zambrano, or the passenger, 74-year old Salvador Zambrano, were wearing a seat belt and were ejected from their pickup.
He was pronounced dead at the scene while she was taken to Regional West Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Nebraska State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas told KNEB News that the pickup was westbound when it went through the median and into the eastbound lanes. Dora Zambrano brought the pickup back into the median, where it rolled.
