    Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug says a rural Dawes County man died of natural causes early Tuesday evening as his wife was preparing to take him to the hospital.
Haug says 73-year old Gary Davis had asked his wife to drive him, but collapsed before he could make it to the car. Rescue services responded, but Mr Davis could not be revived.
After Haug and the Dawes County Sheriff’s Office completed an investigation of the scene and physical evidence, interviewed witnesses, and consulted medical personnel about his medical history, Haug determined Mr Davis died of natural causes.
