     A 10-year veteran of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services has been named the next warden at the state prison in Tecumseh.Â
Craig Gable replaces Todd Wasmer, who is becoming assistant warden at the state’s Diagnostic and Evaluation Center in Lincoln.
Gable started in the department in 2011 as a correctional officer and has risen through the ranks at seven different Nebraska prisons.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a master’s degree in public administration from Bellevue University.
