The Chadron Community Hospital Home Health team has passed its Medicare and Medicaid recertification survey deficiency-free for the second year in a row.
The survey includes a review of policy and procedures, home visits, medical reviews, pandemic practices and preparedness for a pandemic to ensure the best quality care is provided to patients.
Chadron Community CEO Nathan Hough says the perfect score shows that the Home Health staff is doing an excellent job in all areas, and he congratulates and thanks them for the committed quality care they give their patients..
Home Health includes any professional support service that allows a person to live safely in their home.
Professional caregivers such as nurses, aides, and therapists provide short-term or long-term care in the home, depending on a person’s needs.
In-home care services can help someone who is aging and needs assistance to live independently; is managing chronic health issues; is recovering from a medical setback; or has special needs or a disability.
