The Oglala Sioux Dept of Public Safety says a shooting occurred late Thursday evening and that a “person on interest” is being sought, but is releasing no information on the shooting,
Tribal police and the FBI are sharing the investigation and say they don’t comment about on-going investigations.
They have identified the “Person of Interest” as Logan Cottier and describe him as considered armed and dangerous, possibly driving a small red car of unknown make and model.
OST police say if you come in contact with Cottier, you should not approach him but Instead, contact local police or the tribal dispatch center at (605) 867-5111.
