Police In Blair Kill Armed Suspect


BLAIR, Neb. (AP) – Officers in the Omaha suburb of Blair shot and killed a man armed with a rifle during a domestic disturbance call last night.

Blair Police Capt. Aaron Barrow says officers from his department and Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home about 10:00 PM.

When they entered the home, they were confronted by a man with a rifle and at least one officer or deputy fired and hit him. He died later at a Blair hospital.

Police have not released the man’s name or the names of the officers involved.
