Rare Friday Night Meeting For Chadron School Board

CHADRON – The Chadron School Board holds a rare Friday evening session tonight, meeting at 5:30 in the district offices on the west side of the high school.

Superintendent Dr Caroline Winchester says there’s nothing special about the items on tonight’s agenda; the move to Friday was made because of a conflict with the Nebraska Association of School Boards Legislative Issues Conference Sunday and Monday.

Normally, a board meeting would be delayed a week or shifted to Tuesday, but scheduling conflicts for individual members and claims processing requirements for the district pushed this meeting to tonight.
