“Red Steagall’s Somewhere West Of Wall Street” Episode On Museum Of The Fur Trade Premieres TonightPosted by John AxtellDate: March 01, 2021 12:03 pmLeave a comment417 Views Cowboy broadcaster, musician, poet, actor, and author Red Steagall’s “Cowboy Corner” program has been heard weekly for more than 2 decades on KCSR-AM, which also brought him to Chadron several years ago for a concert. He returned last October to shoot an episode of his television show “Red Steagall’s Somewhere West of Wall Street” on the Museum of the Fur Trade, which premieres tonight at 7:30 MT on RFD-TV, channel 39 on Great Plains Cable. West of Wall Street debuted in 2013 and Red says he’s been wanting for many years to come back to Chadron and do an episode on the Museum of the Fur Trade. A trip to the Northern Plains last October finally gave him that opportunity.Red says he’s visited other very good museums on the fur trade, but none were as complete as Chadron’s West of Wall Street is designed to inform, educate, and entertain the general public about the people, places, and events that preserve and perpetuate the western lifestyle. The 82-year old Steagall, who filmed an episode at Fort Robinson State Park about 6 years ago, is already working on locations for next year. He’s thankful this year’s shows were completed months ago because he was a COVID-19 patient this winter.Tonight’s show on the Museum of the Fur Trade will have a trio of roughly 8-minute segments that rely heavily on video from the museum and voice-over narration by Red Steagall. Again, it airs at 7:30 MT on RFD-TV.
