Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is in Germany on a short trade mission. Ricketts left yesterday and returns on Thursday.
The state opened a one-man trade office in northern Germany last year, a ripple effect from another trade mission in 2019.
The Nebraska Center German was patterned after the state’s trade office established in Japan in 2006.
In addition to being a strong export market for a number of Nebraska ag commodities and other products, Germany has a significant industrial presence in Nebraska with companies that include CLAAS, Graepel, and Evonik.
