Senator Deb Fischer Kicks Off Panhandle Tour

Loading

Nebraska U-S Senator Deb Fischer kicked off a week-long tour of western and central Nebraska on Monday, taking advantage of the last week of the congressional August recess.

Fischer is making few, if any, formal public appearances during her trip.

Her first stops, made in Gordon and Chadron, were good examples of her trip as she met in roundtable sessions with local government officials and community leaders.

Fischer says she also likes to meet very informally with local residents whenever possible.

Fischer made a short stop at KCSR/KBPY/Chadrad Communications this morning. Click to hear News Director John Axtell’s full interview with the senator.

  1. Gee, I am surprised that Deb Fischer came to town to see her constituents but the Dawes County GOP did not know about it , nether did Sheridan County GOP in checking with the Chair there. I was told there was 5 people who attended Chadron. I know 3 of them. Hmm. Maybe she didn’t want to see us as we Censured her before and we can’t find out from her office what she was doing in Davos and what her speech was about there. We also communicated with her on her voting for that 1.7 Trillion $ bill to help out the Dem’s.
