Sheridan County Offices Closed To The Public Posted by John Axtell Date: March 27, 2020 4 Views RUSHVILLE – The Sheridan County Courthouse and Rushville Annex are closed to the public until further notice because of the fight against the coronavirus. The County Commissioners suspended public access, effective on Wednesday, to limit the opportunity for community spread of the virus. The commissioners say County Offices will be staffed and working with the public by phone and email, but the doors of the Courthouse will be locked. They also encourage citizens to use the online services available at the County website at sheridancounty.ne.gov. The County Court in the Public Safety Building will remain open, but only those who must appear in District Court will be admitted to the courthouse.
