      Nebraska 3rd District Congressman Adrian Smith of Gering has a new agriculture liaison. Heidi Borg will act as a resource for ag producers and stakeholders across the vast 3rd District – which touches all corners of the state.
Borg is a native Nebraskan and graduate of UNL who most recently was Ag Liaison on the Pillen for Governor campaign and before that a staffer for State Senator Julie Slama.
Smith says he’s excited to have Borg on his team because the 3rd District is the #1 ag-producing district in the country.
The 8-term Republican says he has always prioritized having a strong ag liaison in his office – adding that he knows Nebraska’s farmers and ranchers will be well-served by her knowledge and background.
