Thursday Night Power Outage Puts Almost 250 Chadron Customers In The Dark

 Nebraska Public Power District says a mechanical issue is to blame for a Thursday evening outage that left nearly 250 customers in the central part of Chadron in the dark.

     NPPD spokesman Grant Otten says the outage began at 9:05 and while crews responded quickly and had the lights back up for almost everyone by 1:00 AM, the last 2 customers didn’t get electricity back until just before noon today.
