TORRINGTON, Wyo. – The Wyoming Highway Patrol says a midnight crash Monday near Torrington claimed one life and sent one person to the hospital.
21-year old Kenneth Randall of Torrington died at the scene with his passenger, 21-year old Katelyn Cooley of GIllette, taken to Torrington Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The Highway Patrol says Randall was southbound on Hwy 153 when his pickup left the pavement on the right side. He overcorrected to the left and the pickup overturned. Neither Randall or Cooley was wearing a seat belt.
The Patrol is investigating driver inattention and alcohol use as possible contributing factors to the accident.
