UNL To End Fall Semester By Thanksgiving; Online Classes To Start A Week Early

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has released a revised fall semester calendar very similar to the one released earlier this week by Chadron State and the other state colleges with on-campus classes, no fall break, and classes ending before Thanksgiving.

The on-campus classes will be the first since since coronavirus pandemic shut down the campus and led to all spring semester classes finishing and all summer course being offered only through remote-learning

For the fall semester, remote-learning classes will begin August 17, a week earlier than on-campus classes for the first time ever. Both types of classes will also meet on Labor Day.

UNL Chancellor Ronnie Green unveiled the fall semester plan in an email to students, faculty and staff that went out Friday.
