Widespread strong wind gusts elsewhere are also possible with a likely upgrade to the Watches coming. ● In addition to strong winds, blowing snow and slick roads may also pose potential dangers to those traveling. ● A HIGH blowover risk exists along Interstates 25 and 80. ● Wind gusts 80+ mph for wind prone areas. Wind gusts 65+ mph will be possible outside the wind prone areas. Hazards: Expect widespread High Winds. Strongest winds expected to occur Wednesday during the daylight hours. I-25 near Bordeaux, I-80 Summit and I-80 corridor between Arlington and Elk Mountain could see wind gusts 80+ MPH.Outside wind prone areas, in areas under a Watch, wind gusts 65-70 MPH are possible.
