WNCC President Dr. Carmen Simone says the school is grateful for the state help and will put the times to good use as it works to create the best possible learning environment for students, faculty and staff.
The college is getting 16,540 surgical masks and an equal number of nitrile gloves; 6,616 containers of disinfectant wipes; 4,962 cloth masks; 66 gallons of hand sanitizer and 83 sanitizer dispensing bottles; 50 infrared thermometers; 33 medical gowns; and 17 face shields.
Simone says WNCC continues to fine-tune its comprehensive re-opening plan to ensure every precaution is taken to keep students, faculty, staff, and community members as safe as possible. Re-opening guidelines and requirements will be announced before the start of classes.
