Woman Sought For Questioning In Rapid City Shooting Killed By Companions In Utah

      A woman sought by Rapid City police for questioning about a shooting 10 days ago was shot to death herself on Sunday in Utah. Charged with her death are 2 of the 3 people she had fled Rapid City with.

    Dead is 23-year old Dominique Brave of Rapid City and being held in Utah on murder charges are David Mestas of Sioux Fall and Richard Sanchez of Rapid City, both 26.

Mestas and Sanchez were persons of interest in the Rapid City shooting.

   22-year old Christina Sanchez of Rapid City was also traveling with them and was arrested along with the 2 men, but on a charg of accessory to attempted murder in the initial case. She’s already returned in custody to Rapid City.

       Mestas and the Sachezes were arrested at a gas station in Mona, Utah, on Sunday, but authorities have said only that Mestas shot Brave at some point of travels through Utah. Brave’s body was found in their vehicle at the gas station.
