A Wyoming jury has convicted a Torrington man in a 4-day trial of killing a Scottsbluff woman in January of last year.
The Goshen County jury deliberated 5 hours before finding 28-year old Terry Anderson guilty of 2nd-degree murder in the death of 56-year old Deedra Strauch.
Anderson was arrested shortly after the Jan 24, 2020, shooting but was released on bond. He’s now back in custody awaiting sentencing. The standard sentence for 2nd-degree murder in Wyoming is a minimum of 20 years.
Anderson’s case was postponed several times because of COVID-19 protocols and precautions.
