Update: As of 5:45 pm on Monday evening Nebraska Public Power District is reporting that the power outage affecting Southwest Chadron has been fixed.

Following a strong storm that passed through Chadron on Monday afternoon, Nebraska Public Power District is reporting a power outage that is affecting 450 customers in the southwest corner of Chadron.
According to the NPPD website, a crew has already been dispatched and is making repairs to the area. Estimated time of repair is around 7:00 pm this evening.
