Paulette Nancy Weasel Bear “Tashina Numpa Win” was born on May 8, 1949 at home near Slim Buttes, SD, to Jefferson Weasel Bear and Melbea (New Holy) Weasel Bear. Paulette entered into God’s loving arms on January 9, 2023, at the Pine Ridge IHS Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Paulette is survived by her daughter Francy Weasel Bear; grandchildren Jason Weasel Bear, Jefferson Weasel Bear, Paula Rosander, and Alex Rosander; great-grandchildren Nyeshia, Chavez, Legend Rosander, and Maeleigh Long Soldier; grandchildren Misty Lakota & children -Iraeshiya & Denmi; sons Lydell Young Bull Bear, Brent Geller, and Clifford Running Hawk.
