The Western Conference basketball tournament begins with games being played at Scottsbluff, Gering and Mitchell today.
The Chadron girls and boys open with games at Scottsbluff High School. The Cardinal girls meet Alliance at 4:00 pm followed by the boys against Sterling, CO at 5:30.

Other girls bracket games include Sidney against Arvada, CO with the winner facing the Chadron/Alliance winner. Gering plays Mitchell and Scottsbluff faces Sterling, CO.
On the boys side, Scottsbluff plays Arvada, CO with the winner getting the Chadron/Sterling winner. Alliance and Gering square off as do Mitchell and Sidney.
