A Pine Ridge Reservation man has been sentenced to federal prison for incidents 5 years ago in which he punched his sister then punched, strangled, and suffocated a woman he was dating
25-year-old Dallas Yellow Shield Condon of Pine Ridge received 4 concurrent terms of 4-years 9-months
Prosecutors say Condon punched his sister in the face in Pine Ridge, then drove to Wounded Knee, where he strangled his dating partner to the point of her losing consciousness. When she began to come to, Condon beat her in the face, chest and abdomen.
Three months later, he assaulted her again – punching her multiple times in the face and nose, inflicting injuries that required surgery.
