The Pine Ridge Reservation teenager who was shot in a room at a Rapid City motel last month has died of his wounds. 19-year old Myron Pourier of Porcupine died Sunday, two weeks after he was shot during an argument.

19-year old Quincy Bear Robe, the accused shooter, has remained in custody with bail at $1-million dollars on aggravated assault charges, but the Pennington County State’s Attorney’s Office is expected to file new charges with Pourier’s death.

According to the probable cause affidavit in the case, Bear Robe was stopped by police as he ran from the hotel with a .40 caliber pistol.

It also says Bear Robe admitted to investigators that he shot Pourier during an argument between Pourier and Bear Robe’s girlfriend. Prosecutors said the victim is still in critical condition.
