Public Service Commission Chair Resigns 5 Years Early

      The chairwoman of the Wyoming Public Service Commission is resigning 4 years before her term is scheduled to end to take another job.

Kara Fornstrom’s resignation is effective Jan. 15. Her term runs through 2025.

     Fornstrom has served on the commission that regulates public utilities including gas and electrical service to homes and businesses since 2013 and has been chairwoman for two years. 

     Gov Mark Gordon praises her “dedication to Wyoming and her diligence and commitment to the ratepayers of the state.”
