Rams Shut Out Banner CountyPosted by Kerri RemppDate: September 14, 2020141 ViewsAfter suffering a shut out of their own at the hands of Edgemont in the opening game of 2020, the Crawford Rams routed Banner County in a 53-0 contest Friday night.The Rams were up 17-0 by half-time, but it was the second half that secured the game. Crawford posted 21 points in the third quarter alone and added 15 more for good measure in the final 10 minutes. The Rams put up 243 yards of offense, 115 of them through the air by quarterback Hayes Frahm. Frahm was also the team’s leading rusher with 88 yards, and scored three touchdowns. Kolby Welling had two sacks and four solo tackles for Crawford on defense. Levi Van Beek and Roman Luevano each added an interception for the Rams’ defense as well.Crawford did find themselves plagued by penalties, with 13 penalties for 140 yards in the contest. No stats were available for the Banner County Wildcats.
