The South Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a Rapid City man as the person killed in a one-vehicle rollover accident late Thursday afternoon between Rapid City and Box Elder.
27-year old Ty Brownotter was a passenger in an SUV driven by 26-year old Juanita Wolfe of Rapid City that overturned while eastbound on Country Road a mile west of Box Elder about 5:30 PM Thursday.
Brownotter died of his injuries, Wolfe was hospitalized with serious non-life-threatening injuries.
Two other passengers, 21-year old Chance Pulliam of Pine Ridge and 25-year old Chance Schumacher of Rapid City, were treated for minor injuries.
Seat belt use remains under investigation with charges pending against the driver.
