Rapid City police say a man was killed in an early-morning shooting Sunday at a downtown bar.
Police Lt. Kevin Masur says officers responding to a report of a shooting just before 1:00 AM at Teddy’s Sports Bar found a chaotic situation centered around a wounded young man.
He was taken to Rapid City Monument Hospital, where he died. His identity has not been released.
No arrests have been made, but Lt Masur says there were a lot of witnesses at the bar and investigators are continuing to develop information on a suspect.
He asks that anyone who saw what happened and hasn’t been interviewed yet to contact the Rapid City police.
