Rebecca Conca “Mahpiya Ska Win” was born on February 18, 1965 in Washington D.C. to Madonna Blue Horse-Beard and Preston Beard.  Rebecca made her journey to the Spirit World on March 4, 2021 near Hermosa, SD.

Rebecca was a loving big sister to Joy and Johnny Beard. Rebecca met her soulmate, Danny Conca, in California while pursuing her modeling career. They were married at the Chapel In The Hills in Rapid City, SD, and to this union they had two beautiful children, Madonna and Tristan.

Becca was an international model people admired for her appearance, but her beauty truly was her heart and spirit.  She loved to travel and dig her feet in the sand.  She was spiritual and raised as a traditional Lakota woman. Rebecca was the purest representative of strength.

Rebecca is survived by her two children, Madonna Conca “Wichape Ojanjan Win-Shing Star Woman” and Tristan Conca “Wambli Ska-White Eagle”; sister, Joy Beard; nephews, Preston & Jessie Small; grandchildren, Celia & Sophia (Madonna); her niece, Farrah Beard; great nephew, Bridger Beard; and sister-in-law, Darla Beard.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Madonna Blue Horse-Beard and Preston Beard; her beloved husband, Daniel Conca; brother, Johnny Beard; and nephew, Erik Beard.

Thank you to all our relatives and friends that have supported us, loved us, and grieved with us at this difficult time.
