Ricketts, First Lady In Quarantine After Close COVID-19 Contact

Nebraska Governor Pete RIcketts and First Lady Susanne Shore have begun a 2-week COVID-19 quarantine after coming into close contact with someone who later tested positive for coronavirus.

Taylor Gage, Director of Strategic Communications for the governor, says Ricketts and Shore joined 3 people Sunday night for an outdoor dinner and that one of their 3 guests tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

Gage says neither the Governor or First Lady are showing any symptoms and will get tested at the appropriate time.

He also says Ricketts will still host his scheduled coronavirus briefings today and Thursday, but will do it virtually.
