Burial is at the Black Eyes Family Cemetery in Hisle, SD
A two-night wake service starts Monday, July 11, at 4:00 at the LaCreek CAP office in Martin, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM each night.
Robin Rae Standing was born on October 13, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Edsel Standing Bear and Evelyn Black Eyes. Robin made her journey to the Spirit World on July 4, 2022 at the Bennett County Hospital in Martin, SD.
Robin is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Wilson, Cheryl Standing Bear, Misty Standing Bear, and Paha Standing Bear; sons, William Bettelyoun and Frankie Standing Bear; special friend, Duane Richards; siblings, Carl Standing Bear, Caroline Standing Bear, Gene Standing Bear, Patricia Standing Bear, and Isaac Standing Bear; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Black Eyes and Edsel Standing Bear; brothers, Jerome Black Eyes and Gordon Standing Bear; sisters, Jenny Standing Bear and Maude Standing Bear; sons, Edsel Standing Bear, Richard Standing Bear and Baby Boy Standing Bear; and daughters, Barbara Standing Bear and Baby Girl Standing Bear.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Cottier Jr, Everette Cottier, Jesse Poor Bear, Riley Bear Robe, Damian Bad Bear, Hermus Bettelyoun, Dave Standing Bear, and Gene Standing Bear Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
