SD Sets New COVID-19 Highs

South Dakota set records Wednesday for new and active COVID-19 cases and for the number of those patients who are hospitalized.

      The state Dept of Health says there were 445 new cases, 192 hospitalizations, and 3,108 active cases of the disease – 291 more than on Tuesday.

      South Dakota has had 19,634 cases of COVID-19 and 202 deaths since the first case was detected in the state back in March.
