CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) – Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney has a second Democratic challenger for Wyoming’s lone seat in the U-S House of Representatives.
44-year old Carl Beach has split his time the last 20 years between Wyoming and teaching overseas in countries that include Germany and Thailand. He’s currently living in the Medicine Bow Mountains enclave of Ryan Park.
Beach will face in the primary another little-known Democrat, Carol Hafner, who has been living in South Dakota but ran for Alaska’s lone U-S House seat 2 years ago.
Cheney, daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney, is finishing her second term in the seat her father once held for 4 terms.
