Western Nebraska Community College is hosting the second of its 3 finalists for president today and tomorrow. Greg Dart is chief campus administrator at Utah State University-Eastern.
Dart will be interviewed by the WNCC board this morning, then have an open forum in the Harms Center from 4:30-5:30 and available online at livestream.com/wncc/forum-april5.
Dart will visit the Alliance and Sidney campuses tomorrow with Meet and Greets in Alliance from 9-10:00 and Sidney from 2-3:00.
The last finalist, Dr Todd Brand, chief academic officer at Ashland Community & Technical College in Tennessee, will have the same schedule next Thursday and Friday. Dr George McNulty, president of Gogebic CC in northwest Michigan, finished his 2 day visit yesterday.
. The WNCC board will meet in special session two weeks from today to make its choice and announce its selection.
WNCC has been without a permanent president since the unexpected resignation of Dr Carmen Simone in June 2021.
