A one-night wake service starts Friday, Dec 18, at 5:00 PM at the Young Dog Residence in Batesland, SD
Seymour Young Dog was born on July 5, 1943 in American Horse Creek, SD to Dora Around Him and Amos Young Dog, Sr. Seymour made his journey to the Spirit World on December 14, 2020 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Seymour is survived by his daughters, Susan (Daniel) Blair of Nampa, ID, Tina Littlecreek of Norman, OK and Lisa (Bart) Andrae of Caldwell, ID; sons, Seymour Young Dog, Jr. of Batesland, SD; siblings, Nancy Rouillard, Marvin Young Dog, Myron Young Dog-Shield, Amos Young Dog, Jr., and Virginia Irving; grandchildren, Johnathon Blair, Jordan Blair, Matthew Sandison, Teisha Banda, Chase Andrae and Jacob Andrae; and great grandchildren, Dannie Blair, Landon Andrae and Two more on the way.
He loved all of his Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren and Hunka Grandchildren. He gave them encouragement and helped them out when he could.
Seymour was preceded in death by his parents, Dora Around Him and Amos Young Dog, Sr.; brothers, Verdell Young Dog, Lester Young Dog and Gary Young Dog; sister, Irene Young Dog; son, Michael Eugene Young Dog; spouse, Margaret Young Dog; and son-in-law, John Sandison.
Pallbearers will be JR Young Dog, Matthew Sandison, Tylor Rouillard, Howard Little Hawk, Jacob Andrae, Brian Kehn, Norman Kehn, Darrell Ferguson and Travis Irving.
