Sific Fannie Pretty Hip was born on August 12, 1940 in Pine Ridge, SD to Jessie (Yellow Thunder) Pretty Hip and George Pretty Hip. Sific made her journey to the Spirit World on March 22, 2022 at the Avantara Mt. View Nursing Home in Rapid City, SD.
Sific is survived by her brother, Rudolph Pretty Hip; granddaughter, Jessie Pretty Hip; and great granddaughters, Maria & Vaeda Pretty Hip-Broken Rope.
Sific was preceded in death by her parents, George & Jessie & (Yellow Thunder) Pretty Hip; daughter, Maria; brothers, Verney and Joe Pretty Hip, and Burgess Bianas, Sr.; sisters, Louise & Bessie Pretty Hip, and Sharon (Respects Nothing) Pretty Hip; and great grandson, Aaron Broken Rope, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Broken Rope, John Red Feather, George Respects Nothing, Bruce Yellow Wolf, Julio No Neck, Lloyd Bianas, Sr., Norman Bianas, and Larry Two Bulls.
