Funeral services for 31-year old Skuya Old Horse are Friday, June 24, 2022 at 2:00 at the Powwow Grounds in Kyle, SD, with Minister Jonathan Old Horse officiating.
Burial is at St Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery in Kyle.
Visitation precedes the services from 10:00-2:00, also at the Powwow Grounds in Kyle.
Skuya Lynn Old Horse was born on January 11, 1991 in Columbus, NE to Rosebud Old Horse and Martin Brady-Munoz. Skuya made her journey to the Spirit World on June 13, 2022 at her home in Kyle, SD.
Skuya is survived by her mother, Rosebud Old Horse; father, Martin Brady-Munoz; grandparents, Sandra Old Horse and Aaron Gay and Faron & Cordelia Old Horse; sister, Martina (Brandon Yellow Hawk) Old Horse & Family; brother, Angel (Roylene Bad Yellow Hair) Old Horse & Family; aunts, Emma Old Horse, Trish Black Hawk, Natasha Black Hawk, and Lakota Win Old Horse; uncles, William (Christy Lone Elk) Quick Bear, Sr. & Family, Manuel Montoya-Old Horse Jr, Jonathan Old Horse, Shawnee “Shanae” Old Horse, Scotty “Shotty” Old Horse, Verlin Old Horse, Jason Old Horse, Sonny Old Horse, Jonathan Little Thunder, Justin Little Thunder, Craig Little Thunder, Acey Old Horse, Jesse Munoz, Enez Munos, and Ezequiel Munoz; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Skuya was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Sophie High Horse, Emma Waters, and Martha Brady-Munoz; great-grandparents, Susie Thunder Bull & Charles Fool Head, Bryant & Minnie High Horse, and Ralph Old Horse & Emma White Elk; aunts, Tesse Old Horse and Dakota Shay Old Horse; uncle, Jonas Old Horse; and cousin, Remedy Old Horse.
Pallbearers will be Verlin Old Horse, Jason Old Horse, Sonny Old Horse, Martin Red Feather, Joseph Fool Head, Angel Old Horse, Rich White, and Michael Saloman.
