Arenado, Rockies Miss Playoffs For 2nd Straight Season

The Colorado Rockies started off a sizzling 11-3. Then things fell apart. They went 15-31 after Aug. 9, the lowest winning percentage in the majors over that span.

Don’t be surprised to hear Nolan Arenado’s name surface in offseason trade rumors. The All-Star third baseman can opt out of his deal after next season and the front office may entertain offers. Arenado’s season was cut short by a sore left shoulder.

His bat was quiet by his standards in hitting .253 with eight homers.
