Trevor Berry, the former Chadron High state qualifying golfer and now member of the Central Wyoming men’s golf program, shot a 2nd day score of 87 at the NJCAA division one National Championships on Tuesday.
Tallied with his day one score of 86, Berry has a 36 hole round of 173.
Unlike Monday’s round, Berry was able to stay away from the major mistakes on Tuesday, going bogey or better on 15 of 18 holes.
The highlight came on the par three 15th where he sank a birdie.
As a team, Central Wyoming sits at the bottom of the standings with a 679. Hutchinson Community College is on top of the leaderboard with a 560.
Hutchinson golfer Harry Crockett is the individual leader with a 137.
