Bohl Hoping “A year Older” Pays Off For Pokes

The Wyoming football team is hitting the end of their first week of practice today and are still trying to find their footing with a youthful linebacking corps.

Linebackers Logan Wilson and Cassh Maluia were taken in the 2020 draft, and the COVID shortened season didn’t allow for much development for head coach Craig Bohl’s group.

Bohl is hoping that another year will help solve some of their issues.

“With what we do, by having another year under their belt that knowledge and experience they gained is really important,” said Bohl. I think they all have the ability to see and diagnose things well. They also have the ability to drop into coverage and also be good blitzers.”

Wyoming opens the season on September 4th against Montana State.
