Broncos Begin New Era In Hackett & Wilson’s First Minicamp

Loading

New head coach Nathaniel Hackett and newly acquired quarterback Russell Wilson had their first practice together Monday at the Denver Broncos training center. Both of them brought the energy to the workout.

Hackett was all over the field checking out his offense, defense and special teams. He even lined up in the backfield to take fake handoffs while Wilson practiced some play-action passes.

Another change was the loud music blaring from the giant speakers during the practice.

Former coach Vic Fangio had largely removed the jams from practice during his three seasons in Denver.
