Broncos’ Glasgow Will Take Himself Out If He Has A-Fib Again

Broncos offensive lineman Graham Glasgow says the next time his heart starts racing in the middle of a game, he’ll head straight for the sideline.

Glasgow played through an irregular heartbeat in Denver’s season opener against the Giants and was hospitalized afterward. The problem was diagnosed as atrial fibrillation.

Glasgow says he’s making sure to drink lots of water and using his CPAP at night in hopes he doesn’t have a recurrence of A-fib.

But if he does, Glasgow says he’ll take himself out of the game to avoid possible complications like stroke or heart failure.
