Broncos’ Ja’Wuan James Skipping 2020 Over COVID-19 Concerns

Denver Broncos right tackle Ja’Wuan James has decided to skip the 2020 season over concerns about the coronavirus. James says he already has one family member who was infected by the virus and he doesn’t want to risk bringing the virus home to his wife and newborn son.

James and the Broncos were hoping for a bounce-back year in 2020 after he played just three games last year after signing a big free agent contract.

A balky knee limited James to just 63 snaps over three starts last year.
