Denver Broncos top draft pick Jerry Jeudy says his pair of costly drops in his NFL debut will fuel him for the rest of his career.
Jeudy was known as a sure-handed receiver at Alabama and was the second wide receiver selected in an NFL draft packed with pass-catching talent. Jeudy says he simply took his eyes off the ball.
But only one rookie receiver caught a touchdown in Week 1 and that was Jacksonville’s Laviska Shenault. The dozen other receivers selected in the first two rounds all got off to a slow start.
