Broncos Lose Linebacker Josey Jewell To Torn Chest Muscle

The Denver Broncos are one of two AFC teams who are 2-0 but they’ve lost five starters to injuries.

The most seriously hurt appears to be inside linebacker Josey Jewell, who tore a chest muscle on a special teams play in Denver’s win at Jacksonville on Sunday.

Pro Bowl pass rusher Bradley Chubb also left the game. He aggravated a sprained right ankle that’s bothered him for almost a month.

The Broncos lost receiver Jerry Jeudy to a sprained ankle, cornerback Ronald Darby to a pulled hamstring and right guard Graham Glasgow to an irregular heartbeat in Week 1.
