Bruns Middle Of The Pack At Class C State Golf

Gordon-Rushville’s Abigail Bruns is well ahead of last years state meet performance after a round of 100 at Monday’s 1st round of the Class C girls state golf meet at Elks Country Club in Columbus.

Bruns best score in 2019, was a 1st round of 109.

Bruns parred a pair of holes and never went any worse than triple bogey through the rest of her round.

Bruns currently sits in the mid-30’s in the standings and will tee off at 9:45 Tuesday morning.

Abbi Broderson of Boone Central and Lynzi Becker of Cozad had rounds of 77 to tie for the day one lead, five strokes ahead of the next closest competitors.

Broken Bow leads the team race over Lincoln Christian 81-98.
