Burditt To Join Eagles Coaching Staff

Former Chadron State College volleyball player Ashton Burditt returns to Chadron in 2022 as a coaching assistant for the Eagles, according to CSC Head Volleyball Coach Jennifer Stadler on Friday.

“I’m thrilled to add former Eagle Ashton Burditt to our coaching staff,” said Stadler. “Ashton was a tremendous athlete with a lot of heart and passion for the sport and our program. I’m excited to see her grow in this new role, and our athletes will have a tremendous opportunity to be mentored by one of the best.”

Burditt last played for CSC in 2019, when she was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year, All-Region Second Team, and was awarded the athletic department’s Clyde Bond Memorial Award for leadership skills, character and athletic abilities, in 2019-20. She was a two-time All-RMAC selection as well as a two-time Academic All-RMAC First Team pick.

A libero as a player, the Spearfish, South Dakota, native set several defensive school records at CSC.

Burditt begins her position effective immediately and will assist with spring drills.
