Chadron 3rd At Alliance Invitational/Western Conference Girls Golf

     The Chadron High Girls Golf Team placed 3rd Monday at the Alliance Invitational, which doubled as the Western Conference Tournament. 

      Scottsbluff dominated the event, beating runner-up Sidney by over 100 strokes 313 to 415. Chadron shot a 428 to edge Gering for 3rd.

      Chadron’s Kenzie Pourier was the top finisher on the day not from Scottsbluff. Her 96 put her 6th, 9 strokes out of 5th and 23 behind champion Anna Kelly, who won by 5 strokes with a 73.

      Chadron also had good days from Taegan Bach, who shot a 106, and from Elianna Uhing, finished with a 112.

     The Scottsbluff JV won Division 2 with 384, the day’s second-best score behind their varsity. Gordon-Rushville missed 2nd in the division by 1 point. 

       Chadron didn’t have a full JV team, but Lucy Rischling was 9th at 111 and Gillian Conway 10th at 116.
